These
three musicians, all active in both the jazz and World Music scenes, and
also leaders of their own projects, come together  lively and unusual
version of jazz standards by Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius
and Ralph Towner, among others alongside original compositions.

Tickets are £6/£4 concession.

When two poor greasers, Johnny, and Ponyboy are assaulted by a vicious
gang, the socs, and Johnny kills one of the attackers, tension begins to
mount between the two rival gangs, setting off a turbulent chain of
events.

On Thursday 28th July, in the lovely garden space at the back of The Gallery Cafe, we shall be hosting the St. Margaret's House ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY for all the family to enjoy. Expect delicious food, live music, dance, cakes, a vintage clothes stall and games throughout the day to brighten up any summer holiday. FREE ADMISSION.

World Music continues at The Gallery with Pocket Caravan, merging soaring Baltic melodies with driving Latin rhythms and virtuosic improvisations.

The Word House is a brand new spoken word night in East London, bringing you fresh and cutting edge talent from the live literature circuit. Featurd artists, Open Mic, DJs and resident host Dan Simpson.

Poets' Corner is a place where creative, artistic or lovers of Poetry Music and other Art forms, get together for an evening of fun, passion, exploration, discovery and where friendships are born or renewed. It takes place at the cafe on the second Tuesday of every month, between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Our knitting group meets every two weeks in the cafe, from 5pm until the cafe closes at 8pm, with the option of continuing in a local pub afterwards. All ages and abilities welcome. If you'd like to learn to knit, there will be more experienced knitters on hand to teach you the basics. Our group is a good mixture between complete beginners and knitting masters! If you are a complete beginner, bring some needles and some yarn and we'll help you get started. We'll also bring some books and some simple patterns that you might like to try.
