The Word House is a brand new spoken word night in East London, bringing you fresh and cutting edge talent from the live literature circuit.

Every other month we will be showcasing three exceptional poets and offering Open Mic slots for anybody who wants to share their work.

In the capable hands of our resident poet Dan Simpson, and with incredible original music mixed by DJ Able, there is no reason to miss out. Books and CDs also available for sale on the night.

be one of the most unique voices of performance poetry to come out of
London.
She blends her soulful singing voice with intelligent and rootsy poetry,
combined with individualised rhythms of hiphop and jazz

RAYMOND ANTROBUS
Raymond Antrobus is a spoken word artist, photographer, poet and writer.
He delivers thoughtful, cutting-edge and open interpretations of life,
describing himself as a “confessional poet”.
