We are delighted that June's Gallery Cafe art exhibition by Carl Stimpson was featured in Time Out's First Thursday Late Night Art Guide.

Carl Stimpsons’ paintings and prints are inspired by the graphic and vibrant genre of crime comics. The artist writes: ‘If I paint a picture that makes me yawn, I can hardly expect a less partial viewer to take interest in it. As Jack Kirby once said about his crime comics, “a villain you can’t respect is not a villain anyone wants to read about”. Return to the scene of the crime and be seduced by the footprints of colourful corruption’.
