A series of events in support of mental health awareness week
Founded in 2001, Mental Health Awareness Week is a UK event supported by the Mental Health Foundation.
This year we joined the conversation and curated a series of special workshops:
Monday 14th - Friday 18th May | 7-7.30am | Chapel/ Garden | Free
Our Mindful Mornings sessions gave students the chance to start their day with 30 minutes of calm to discover more focus, composure and energy for the day ahead.
These practical sessions introduced different methods of mindfulness available to bring a little peace of mind.
It has been shown that a regular Mindfulness practice can reduce stress, improve focus and cognitive function, strengthen the immune system, improve sleep, and enhance creative thinking.
The sessions took place in our chapel and, when the sun was shining, in our garden under the famous mulberry tree!
