Social Walking Group

11.00am on the first and third Tuesday of the month

The group was set up in March 2011. The walks have varied in length from two to five miles and are taken at an easy pace with plenty of opportunities to talk to other walkers. There is no obligation to complete the entire walk, nor do we expect members to attend every walk. Our largest attendance has been twelve, but we have walked with as few as three and an average turn-out would be six.

As well as canal tow paths and the Thames Path, we have covered Victoria Park, Mile End Park and Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. In addition we have taken in some lesser known sights, such as the Running Man sculpture and the Giant Poppies sculpture.
