Blue in Green: Jazz Through the Artist's Eye

Blue in Green Jazz Art 2.jpg

Venue: Gallery Cafe

7.30pm | £5

After a brilliant opening night in May, Blue in Green is returning to our cafe this August.

A night of live jazz with artists creating work in response to the music. A handful of visual artists will be making work during the course of performances from two trios, with the music and art alike being created spontaneously. All are welcome to bring sketchbooks and take part.

Matthew Read Trio

Formed in 2015, the Matthew Read Trio brings together three like-minded approaches for music making, creating an exciting new performance every time they play. Drawing influence from the bands of Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Paul Motian and many more, MRT brings a fresh edge to the world of the guitar trio.
