Ignite is a brand new Scratch Night for Writers and Theatre Makers to try out new ideas.
Launching on Tuesday 30th January at 7pm, entrance is only £3 and participants get in free.
The night is made up of four 10-minute performances:
HOLE by Robyn Addison
Robyn is currently part of the Bush Theatre Emerging Writers’ Group 2017/18. As an actor she has appeared on stage at various theatres including Hampstead Theatre, Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre and The Theatre Royal Haymarket. She has also appeared on television in shows such as Survivors, George Gently and The Street for the BBC and Doc Martin for ITV.
DIFFERENT NIGHT by Azeem Bhati
Since graduating from reading Law, Azeem has worked in the Film and TV industry consistently for the past three years. Projects he has worked on have included the film Page One and the Scott Free and Google produced Documentary, India in a Day. He is currently in pre-production on his debut short film.
BUMP by Kelly Jones
Kelly is a playwright from Dagenham, Essex- based in Wales. In 2014 she was the recipient of the WALES DRAMA AWARD, a biannual prize presented by National Theatre Wales, BBC Writers room and BBC Wales. She is currently on the EWG at The Bush Theatre and has work in development with BBC WALES, NTW, YELLOBRICK, DIRTY PROTEST, THEATR CLWYD and THE OTHER ROOM.
A SUITE OF MISSED OPPORTUNITIES by Benjamin Wal
Benjamin is a playwright from Bedford. His most recent play, Soul Weekend, is looking for a home.
