Sandmoon are an indie pop-folk band from Lebanon, who will be performing a special intimate concert inside our chapel as an acoustic-duo.
The band is fronted by singer/songwriter Sandra Arslanian, who has been listed as one of the best indie female singers in the Middle East on Cairo Scene. Their music can be compared to Cat Power or Kate Bush, whilst remaining closely linked to Armenian/Oriental musical roots.
The band recently released the single 'Shiny Star' as part of their Beirut-Berlin Session EP, recorded with Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode) and won the Best Soundtrack Award at the Lebanese Film Festival 2017, for the film Listen by Philippe Aractingi.
