Live & Acoustic at the Gallery Café welcomes some of London’s greatest undiscovered talent, all friends of host Tom Price-Stephens.
Spring will have truly arrived by the 21st of April, so come down, brush off the winter cobwebs, enjoy some astounding music and great company.
Yorkshire girl Sophie Hammill moved to the big smoke in search of fortune and fame. 3 years on, she is still searching, serving up delicious coffee in the local cafe and playing her music when she can. There are country and soulful rock elements to Sophie’s sound, and she brings a uniqueness to the world of acoustic music.
Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Laura Reznek stands out from the crowd the moment she steps on stage. A mesmerising performer with an arresting and effortless soprano, Laura’s richly textured songs open up a darkly atmospheric world that pulls from history, memory, and nature.
Last but not least! Introducing the Live & Acoustic host: Although Tom’s songs are full of stories, his distinct, husky yet powerful voice is the centre of his music, memorably described by one fan as sounding like it had been “dipped in honey and dried in rich tobacco smoke”.
