VivasPro: Deaf Advocacy : arts, crafts and BSL

Vivas Pro has been running weekly arts and crafts classes since May 2016.The classes are open to deaf, disabled or disadvantaged people for free. Our students learn sewing, embroidery, leather crafts and flower arranging. It offers them a safe environment to learn something new and make new friends.

At the same time, we also have British Sign Language taster classes, also free of charge and open to all those who wish to find out more about British Sign Language (BSL) or want to start learning, before committing themselves to a course. To those who are interested in attending classes, we offer a free assessment, as some are beginners and others may have studied BSL before. We have these taster sessions to enable anyone who is interested in BSL to try it out and hopefully find they enjoy it and wish to learn the language better.

If you wish to come to any of our classes, please email us in advance via askvivaspro@gmail.com
