A collaboration between St Margaret’s House, Phytology and Herbalists Without Borders. Monthly, we harvest native London herbs from the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve, before heading to the Create Place to make our big batch of herbal medicine.
We distribute our medicine to local people affected by homelessness, and from the knowledge that we gather, respond by making medicine suited to need.
About Mobile Apothecary
The Mobile Apothecary is a collaboration between St. Margaret’s House, Herbalists Without Borders, and Phytology. The projects supports underserved communities locally with communally-made herbal remedies, which are made during these workshops are then distributed monthly outside the Bethnal Green Tube Station, alongside Refugee Community Kitchen. This Apothecary champions healthcare, sustainable growing, and how collectively making herbal medicine can strengthen bonds between people and local ecosystems.
