The African Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) are running a 4 hour theatre focused workshop to celebrate Black History Month 2017 - a nationwide celebration of Black history, arts and culture throughout Britain, with this year marking the 30th anniversary of the event.

The day will feature presentations, live drumming, dancing and encourages audience participation and for people to come in their cultural dress-code.

AWWA work towards enhancing the quality of life of African women and their families who live in the United Kingdom, focusing primarily on their wellbeing, education, and soci-economic and cultural fulfillent.

Everyone is welcome no matter the colour of their skin, creed, disability or sexuality.
