Bity Booker

17.11 Bity Booker 2.JPG

This is a rare occasion to hear Bity Booker's new songs and is the act's only headlining gig for the Autumn/Winter and the rest of the year.

Bity Booker is a folk singer and singer/songwriter. She reinterprets Australian, English and American folk songs and songs from the 60s folk revival. Bity performs with classical guitar, voice, a bird-shaped whistle and bells. She grew up in the Italian countryside in a house with many animals and lives her troubadour life between Australia, Italy and the UK. Be prepared to delve deep into Bity Booker's musical world and listen to fantastic stories about a mouse, Mr Sparrow, parrots, a whale, stars, trees and protest songs. Each song is a character with a timeless personality and melody.

Special guests on the night include: Storywheel & Catherine Earnshaw Folk music of the British Isles and original songs played on the oud (Middle Eastern lute).
