Active in London and abroad since 2011, Le Gazhikane Muzikante play traditional and beautiful folk songs from South Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean area, under the direction of singer and guitarist Antonio Riva.
All the songs are performed in their original language, illustrating a varied repertoire of around 10 languages, including various dialects of the Romani Gypsy language. The band will play distinctive and passionate musical interpretations and choral arrangements, characterised by a beautiful Eastern folk sound.
The band has performed both nationally and internationally and will also represent the linguistic diversity of South Eastern Europe at the upcoming Bloomsbury Festival 2016.
Le Gazhikane Muzikante released their first album "Jekh Duj Trin Shtar"—which will be on sale during the concert.
