ABOUT YOUR PRACTITIONERS

Jo (female practitioner): Jo is a highly intuitive practitioner whose osteopathic background provides her with a technical anatomy-based approach to treatment.  Jo has experience treating a wide range of conditions, such as chronic and acute back pain, shoulder dysfunction, disc injuries, headache; and has a special focus on gut related issues including digestion problems, issues with the menstrual cycle and treating during, pre- and post-pregnancy.
Jo qualified in 2016 from the British School of Osteopathic Medicine after practicing as a Thai Massage Therapist for over 10 years.  After graduating, she taught visceral osteopathy at BCOM.  Jo also practices Thai Massage, Chi Nei Tsang, Shiatsu and Craniosacral therapy.

Rob (male practitioner): Robert's treatments are a unique and contemporary blend of eastern and western massage and esoteric knowledge that incorporate Zen Shiatsu, Thai massage, Osteopathic technique and Andean Shamanism.

Robert is an experienced, authentic, intuitive and empathic therapist who began practising massage in 2001. His dedication to the study of mysticism and the healing arts has taken him on a worldwide journey, and he's worked with everyone from Hollywood stars to homeless people.

Sara (female practitioner): Sara’s approach to bodywork is steeped in her experience as a dancer. Backed by her own lived-in understanding of the body’s structure, her treatments aim to restore balance and functionality.

At The Health Tree Massage clinic, she offers Shiatsu, a technique originating from Japan that uses gentle pressure and manipulations to improve the body’s energy flow according to the principles of Chinese medicine.

Sara trained in Holistic massage, Shiatsu and Structural Integration at the Chicago College of Healing Arts and has been practicing professionally in London since 2017. Working at the interface between the physical and emotional, Sara believes that true strength is being at peace with and within one’s own body.

Rachel (female practitioner): Rachel started her professional Thai massage practice in 2004.

Tuning into her own natural rhythm she has developed a slow, fluid and steady style. Her treatments act like a physical form of meditation for both giver and receiver. An opportunity to slow down, helping to ground an over-active mind common in our busy lives.

The beauty of Thai massage is that it brings clients back into their body and away from unhelpful, repetitive thought patterns. The treatment encourages a flow of energy through the body. The therapist uses pressure from hands, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet in combination with gentle rocking, deep stretches and stillness.

Rachel works with a variety of clients including pregnant women (pre and post-natal), people with general stiffness and those dealing with energetic and emotional issues, including anxiety and depression.
