Community Eid Party

  • St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

Celebrating Eid together as a community while showcasing the creative and culinary work produced through Communal Dining’s workshops across East London.

We’re celebrating Eid al-Adha 2026 as a community event open to everyone. Together, we’ll be showcasing our table installations and a special exhibition that brings together the work created across all the Communal Dining workshops held with charities and community partners across East London — including St Margaret’s House, Poplar Union, Simple Gifts and Tower Hamlets Friends and Neighbours.

This gathering is a chance for people to come together, reconnect with the community they’ve helped build and meet new neighbours in a welcoming, creative space.

We’ll have stalls, art activities, henna workshops and plenty of space to relax. Come meet your local community, unwind and enjoy a delicious hot meal provided by the Gallery Cafe. We aim to create a warm, inclusive environment for all, with access to prayer and quiet space if needed.

All ticket proceeds will go directly back to Communal Dining, helping us continue our work across East London. We don’t want cost to be a barrier to anyone’s attendance — if you need support, please email shahena@communaldining.org.
