Finding Home: Poetry & Jazz Jam Session

  • The Chapel at St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

An intimate evening of live poetry, improvised jazz and creative connection exploring the theme of home.

Join us for the opening night of Finding Home as poets, musicians and audiences gather for an evening of live performance and improvisation.

Blending spoken word, poetry and live jazz, this collaborative jam session invites artists to share work, experiment and respond to one another in real time. Whether you're performing or simply listening, the evening offers a welcoming space to connect with fellow creatives and experience new work in an intimate setting.

Inspired by the weekend's theme of home, the night will explore belonging, memory, identity and community through music and words.

This event is a part of Finding Home, a weekend-long creative takeover exploring the meaning of home through art, music, writing, wellness and community.

One For The Road  - One For The Road is a creative collective building a home for London's emerging creative community. Through theatre, film, music, writing and cultural events, we bring people together to make work, share ideas and form lasting creative connections. We believe the best things happen when ambitious, curious people gather in the same room, and our mission is to create spaces where creativity, collaboration and community can thrive.
