  • The Mulberry Hall at St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

An immersive exploration of sound reflecting on the kind things we don’t always hear

What if you heard all the kind things people said about you? How would that make you feel? What would that sound like? Step into the immersive world Ghyama Arts participants have created to experience sound in a new and creative way. Over 10 week we have be thinking about all the kind things people say about each other but don’t necessarily hear. Ghyama Arts participants share thoughts and ideas in English and Bangla in an attempt to answer these questions. Join us for the sharing and celebration, with the opportunity for reflection and discussion after the sharing.

Ghyama Arts is a collaborative project between St Margaret’s House and the Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association in Bethnal Green. Over 10 weeks participants from Ghyama Arts have developed their performance, speaking and theatre skills to bring a sharing to the Season of Bangla Drama.
