Lost in the Foxglove Presents: Poetry Launch

  • The Gallery Cae 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

Lost in the Foxglove presents; Poetry Launch - Lauren Bulla’s first self-published collection.

The evening will begin with an hour-long workshop in line with the ongoing bi-monthly series, Lost in the Foxglove. These workshops focus on your poetic development and creating meaningful connections across backgrounds/disciplines in an interactive, low-pressure environment. Participants will be provided with "mood board" documents, word banks, and different weekly topics/ lessons to assist in their poetic development. The main goals are - to break down insecurity, embrace imperfection, and build community along the way. The classes can be a one-off or a chance to build via previous attendance. Think new-pathways, community, candidness, growth, queer-friendly, and pure fun.

Lauren will then be accompanied by three London-based poets who will perform original works. Lastly - we will enjoy a musical performance from a talented London musician.

Poets: Lauren Bulla, Vidya Gosain, Georgie Henley, & Erin James

Musician: Vicky Paison

As the event nears, each performing act will be revealed - keep your eyes peeled and get your tickets early. Set to be a very special night of community building, drinks, cute chats, and indulging in a beautiful series of poetic works alongside musical talent - we can’t wait to see you soon. Lost in the Foxglove is a workshop series created in light of building connections and giving creatives the chance to meet each other in a low-pressure, inspiring environment.

Your host, Lauren Bulla AKA Liminal Bleed is a poet and artist based in North London. Much of her work is inspired by life's larger questions - namely the contradiction and overlapping of "fate versus coincidence". Though this is often the baseline of many of her works, she also draws inspiration from everyday monsters, queer nightlife, interpersonal relationships, the natural world, and the liminality of our dreams.
