FLOATING AND RESTING

Friday 10th August 7.30-9pm, £15 via Eventbrite

Restorative yoga is the practice of active resting. It is based on the lack of physical effort to allow the body to re-align itself physically, energetically and emotionally, shifting the nervous system back towards balance.

If you are feeling drained, you can't easily move due to restrictions in the body or illness, or if you feel your mind is going fast and you crave for slowing it down, come along to experience a moment of pause and recharge.

 

NEW DATE: OSTEOPATHY IN PRACTICE: CORRECTING DESK-BASED POSTURE

TUESDAY 7TH AUGUST 7-8.30PM £15

Osteopath Sundip Aujla combines anatomy knowledge with pilates and yoga practice to shine a light on this modern condition. 

This workshop will use theoretical and practical work to give you the ability to self-manage and correct your posture in the short and long-term. You will learn movements to reverse bad patterns and strengthen the body, and will leave feeling in control of your body, not at it's mercy.

TAI CHI, IN THE GARDEN / HALL

WEDNESDAYS 7.30-8.30AM JULY - SEPTEMBER

£5 single session / 6 sessions for £25 through Eventbrite 

Join us this summer for weekly Tai Chi sessions in St Margaret's House Garden in Bethnal Green (or Hall in case of bad weather).

Tai Chi is a martial art form which takes you through a series of postures, building stability, balance and strength in the body. It is systematic in it's approach and it allows each student to grow in their own way. Suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners.
