The Community Collective 2.0 is our second official event, bringing together various stall holders, partners and friends alike to raise awareness of the importance of global community and solidarity.
Join us for our second community collective pop-up event, featuring various vendors selling items with a give back purpose to support various causes. This event is inspired by collective liberation, and we hope it inspires you to continue supporting various initiatives and causes as well as sharing common interests and ideas for change.
This event is independently run by Shakila (@thebeautyinthestruggles), an independent organiser dedicated to shining a light on causes in need, inspiring change, and encouraging communities to come together.
Highlights of the event:
Food stalls: Shop around with purpose & every thing you buy will give back to a community in need.
Merchandise: Featuring a variety of products supporting initiatives in Palestine, Sudan & Syria.
Plaque card making: Create meaningful art with purpose and let your creativity shine.
Henna: Have your henna done by our amazing artists, with designs inspired by South Asian cultures.
Bracelet making workshop: Children and adults alike can create their own jewellery to support an upcoming initiative. Our lovely ladies are there to help you and your little ones carefully craft your own unique pieces.
Dabke workshop: Join our traditional Palestinian Dabke dance workshop at the end of the event, suitable for all. Hosted by dancers from (@dabkegate)
