Join us for a mask-making workshop which explores Jungian notions of our shadow selves in relation to grief and loss
Do you feel that there are parts of yourself which are deemed undesirable or unacceptable by society? Through meditation, mask-making and movement, this workshop explores how we can befriend these darker parts of our identity within the context of grief and loss. By coming into stronger relation with the shadow parts of our being, there is the opportunity for new creative potential; our shadow can give us greater insights into who we are and our place in the world.
The aim of this workshop is to delve into the ways in which these hidden parts of ourselves can be made seen in order to live more expansively and with greater creative freedom. It is the chance to look at areas in our lives which tend to be filled with potential discomfort and examine them through a new lens. This is an opportunity to welcome in the beauty, love and potential which can be found amongst the shadows and the darkness.
