This is our Summer Open Call Exhibition with over 50 artists showing works across all sorts of mediums, expressing their unique interpretation of this year’s theme of ‘The Space Between’
The Space Between offers an opportunity to explore the places where differences meet: where the urban crosses over with the natural world, where the outside breaks inside, where communities meet and blend, where creativity meets wellness, where work and community becomes a home.
In painting, we can bring together different elements and blend them into something whole. Through photography, we can capture the juxtaposition between conflicting and complimentary contrasts. In abstract and conceptual mediums, artists can explore how differences can collide to create something unique - in the spaces between - to comment on the social fabric surrounding us.
In a time of extremes, finding the space between is an act of resistance and a search for unity.
