Sundial Arts Club

  • The Create Place at St. Margaret's House 29 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PJ United Kingdom (map)

Sundial Art Club is a regular visual arts workshop celebrating creativity, community and nature connection.

Join us in the create place for some friendly, informal sessions for people of all abilities to experiment and be creative in a free and supportive environment. We will provide a few fun exercises and an open space for everyone to develop artistic voices through play and experimentation, with a focus on nature in our everyday environment. There will be time in every session for people to work on their own projects, or for people who want to have tea and a chat and do some drawing.

We’re providing drawing and painting materials, and throwing in some surprises to keep things interesting (home made paints, found materials, DIY sculpture), and feel free to bring any materials you’d like to use.

The sessions will be co-facilitated by Babette Van Gerwen and Will Kennedy, visual artists who are passionate about helping others make creativity part of their everyday life. Together they run Sundial Arts as a community arts initiative focused on play, collaboration and connecting to nature through experimental art making.
