Check out Ayoka’s fantastic refurb

This week, we’re excited to share some fantastic news from Ayoka, our much-loved charity shop. After a month of refurbishment, Ayoka will be reopening its doors this Saturday, ready to welcome you back with a fresh new look and plenty of beautiful finds waiting to be discovered. It’s the perfect moment to drop by, browse the rails, and support sustainable shopping within our community.

We’re also delighted to announce that Ayoka now has its very own Vinted account, where you can explore and purchase a selection of exclusive, pre-loved items online. It’s a great way to shop sustainably, even if you can’t make it to see us in person, while continuing to support the important community work we do at St Margaret’s House.

Whether you visit us in person or online, we can’t wait to share this exciting new chapter of Ayoka with you, and to celebrate the joy of giving clothes, books and treasures a new life.

What if you heard all the kind things people said about you? How would that make you feel? What would that sound like? Step into the immersive world that Ghyama Arts participants have created to experience sound in a new and creative way. Join us for the sharing and celebration, with the opportunity for reflection and discussion after the performance.

Come along to our knitting and crochet workshop: Crafting Is Connecting! Surplus materials are provided, but please bring your own knitting/crochet project to work on. This is your chance to get on with that in the company of other crafters from your community.

This fun and inclusive workshop invites everyone to learn and sing Bollywood songs together before an open mic where you can share your talent or simply enjoy the performances, creating a joyful space for music, connection and community.
