Everything coming up at St Margaret’s House

29th January 2026

As we say goodbye to January, we're looking ahead to the events in February to celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month and March to mark Women's History Month. We hope you can join us.

This January, we supported those doing Veganuary by providing three recipes from The Gallery Cafe chef on our Instagram. We also set a staff challenge to have at least one vegan meal per day in January. We'll post tomorrow about how people got on.

In the meantime, check out our What's on page and read on to find out what's coming up that you can get involved in over the coming weeks.

Join us for an exploration of words and their physical forms through clay and word printing. Participants will create a piece with clay with the intention of printing words into it that they feel are significant.

This women-only session creates a safe and supportive space to explore grief in all its forms—whether it’s the loss of a relationship, a change in health, identity, career or life direction.

Explore grief movement, breathwork and sound to support emotional release and reconnection with the body.

Free Half Term Circus sessions in the Tramshed Community Hub, for children to learn circus skills, developing communication and creative thinking.

Monday 16th February, 10am-12noon
Tuesday 17th February, 2-4pm
Thursday 19th February, 10am-12noon

Flyaway Katie is an inspiring flight of fancy about the power of the imagination, based on the book by Polly Dunbar with music by Tom Gray from Gomez. The show is bursting with colour, movement and surprises, with puppets of varying scales acting the story. Suitable for children 2-7 years old and their families.

Our new rehearsal space is available to book! The Studio is our bright new space, perfect for rehearsals, r&d and larger meetings. We've been working hard behind the scenes to get the space finished thanks to in-kind support from the Berkeley Group.

Join our friends Globe Community Project for a day of non‑stop music and community spirit at their Pianothon, a sponsored 12-hour piano playing relay, to help transform loneliness into connection in Tower Hamlets.

When: Saturday 31st January, 10am-10pm
Where: St Paul Old Ford Church, St Stephen's Road, E3 5JL
