Ease into the week with gentle yoga and sound relaxation with Lindsay on Tuesday evenings.

This class is for anyone who wishes to practice slowly and relax deeply. We begin with calming meditation to settle the mind, before gentle breath-led movement to release physical tension. We then transition into some restorative yoga postures and relaxation infused with therapeutic sound to help calm the nervous system and facilitate rest.

This is a mat based practice which includes seated, all-fours, lying down, and occasionally standing postures. Options and variations will be given so that you can practice in a way that nurtures and supports your body, and you’re always welcome to skip any postures that don’t suit you.

I’m still happily attending weekly sessions. I can’t tell you how much it’s meant to me during a difficult time!

About Lindsay:

Lindsay’s intention is to facilitate inner harmony and empowerment through meditative movement and sound, providing you with techniques to improve and maintain your wellbeing for life.

Having spent 20+ years studying and practicing a diverse range of yogic disciplines, she continues to immerse herself in various styles of yoga, meditation, and healing modalities.

Lindsay’s practice has consistently had a positive effect on how she interacts with herself, and in turn, how she navigates life. Her own experience of finding solace and resilience through practice is what inspires her to share yoga with others.

She has trained in hatha, kundalini, and restorative yoga, all of which influence the content of her classes. As a qualified sound healing practitioner, she often combines therapeutic sound with yoga to enhance her teachings, which invite you to play with strength and softness in a way that honours your personal edge, enabling the restoration of internal balance and clarity.

Yoga philosophy is a common thread throughout Lindsay’s classes, where participants are subtly encouraged to explore the nature of consciousness via their relationship with body, mind, and breath.

Lindsay hopes to inspire a deeper connection to the now, the self, others, and the divine, in those who share their practice with her.
