Join Tower Hamlets U3A!
St Margaret’s House have hosted the Tower Hamlets u3a for many years for some of their sessions.
The u3a gives people a chance to share their knowledge, experience and talents with others, in friendly surroundings. Anyone older and not in full-time employment, is welcome – you don’t need any qualifications. Tower Hamlets u3a started in 2008, and has since attracted many lively, friendly and enthusiastic new members. There are currently over 170 members, with a wide range of interests and enjoying learning with and from one another.
Tower Hamlets u3a is a friendly group for people in their ‘Third Age’ and no longer in full time work who love to learn, have fun and meet others. There are a number of interest groups, all of which are led by members, and they encourage members to share their skills and learning with others. There are also some one-off events and discussions.
The membership fee is currently £15 per year, and the membership year runs 1 April to 31 March. Members get regular updates abut forthcoming activities via email, as well as biannual email newsletters.
You can join by filling in the form on their website here and you can also suggest new groups that you might like to run.
