Discover exciting activities for next Half Term

16th October 2025

This week is packed with ways to get involved, have fun and meet new people. You can join our wellbeing sessions and arts workshops and explore our latest exhibition in the Chapel. Each activity brings our community together and offers something fresh to try.

Young people have a full line-up to enjoy during Half Term. The Free Circus Club is a lively space to master juggling, plate spinning and acrobatics with friends. Dan of All Tricks show for families will keep everyone laughing with clever tricks and plenty of surprises. The Halloween Community Litter Pick turns a neighbourhood clean-up into a fun adventure with a spooky twist. It’s a great way to spend time together, build new skills and get into the spirit of the season.

Check out our What's on and read on to find out what's coming up!

This Half Term, join us and learn circus skills! Circus is a great activity for having fun, trying something new and learning how to persevere when you find something difficult. Children will learn different juggling and balancing techniques as well as concentration and determination!

This programme is free to attend thanks to funding from the Tower Hamlets Mayor's Community Fund.

This workshop is a nourishing afternoon of gentle yoga, restorative poses, breathwork and yoga nidra designed to release tension, calm the nervous system and support deep rest, renewal and inner stillness.

This welcoming Vinyasa Flow class is designed to support beginners while offering options for more experienced practitioners. Each session will weave movement with breath, guiding you to connect more deeply with your body and find ease in each transition.

This exhibition showcases the work of four East London artists connected through printmaking and a lockdown-formed online group, with additional contributions from a fifth member, Filippa Dobson, exploring the shared theme of impressions through print, mixed media, paint and collage.

A cosy poetry, spoken word, music and discussion night on the last Saturday of every month. Open mic followed by discussion.

Our theme for this month is TRUTH. We love the quote by Andrea Gibson: “Even when the truth isn't hopeful, the telling of it is”. Within it is a deep reverence and commitment to being present with our lived realities.

Next Thursday 23rd October (7-10pm), Queen Mary University of London and The New Black Film Collective, in celebration of Black History Month, present a special screening + Q&A of 'Nickel Boys' at BLOC Cinema, ArtsOne, Mile End.
