Tell us what you think about our latest events and newsletter

27th November 2025

At St Margaret's House, we run a wide range of activities each week. You can join workshops, wellbeing sessions, exhibitions and events that bring people together through creativity with a special focus on community welfare. One of the best ways to stay up to date on everything happening here is to check our newsletter, which highlights upcoming events and how you can get involved.

As the year is about to finish, we want to begin the next one shaped by your feedback. Many of you read our newsletter every week and we value the time you give to stay connected with St Margaret’s House. We want to make our newsletter even better in the new year by hearing what you think works well and what you would like to see improved.

Your feedback will help us create a more useful newsletter for everyone in our community. We invite you to send your thoughts, ideas and suggestions to comms@stmargaretshouse.org.uk

And now, check out our What's on and read on to find out what's coming up!

A cosy poetry, spoken word, music and discussion night on the last Saturday of every month. Open mic followed by discussion.

Our theme for this month is UTOPIA. Religions and political theories have proposed the idea of a perfect world, society or way of life, free of conflict and suffering. Does this idea appeal to a part of you?

This class is for anyone who wishes to practise gently and relax deeply. We begin with calming meditation and gentle breath-led movement to release physical tension, then transition into restorative postures and relaxation infused with the healing energy of sound.

As the new year approaches, we want to remind you of some of our most popular activities for children. Hilarity Academy and Saturday Circus Club will be back in January for the next Spring Term. Please take a look at all the information on the link below.

This atmospheric solo exhibition by Arlau, Memories in Mist, explores the delicate interplay between memory, myth and nature through black-and-white photography, transforming the Chapel into a quiet meditation on time, presence and the human place within the landscape.

Come along to our new knitting & crochet workshop: Crafting Is Connecting! Surplus materials are provided, but please bring your own knitting/crochet project to work on.
