Discover our Wellbeing sessions and other exciting events
4th December 2025
This week at St Margaret’s House, we have a full mix of events, workshops and creative activities for you to enjoy. You can try something new, meet people with similar interests or do something uplifting after a long day. There is always something happening and we would love to see you take part.
Our wellbeing sessions are also running throughout the week. Many people look for gentler routines and healthier habits as a new year approaches and these sessions offer an easy way to begin. You can take part in yoga, acupuncture and other calming activities that help you feel more balanced and more connected. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, so you can join whether you are starting from scratch or picking up where you left off.

This workshop is a soothing afternoon of gentle movement, restorative yoga and yoga nidra to release tension, replenish energy and find deep rest and inner calm as we move towards the winter solstice.
Join us for our monthly free art cafe of collaborative drawing in The Gallery Cafe. Whether you love to draw or you just love hanging out with new people and doodling while you do, this will be a space to come together and be creative. It will hopefully also offer some calm and relaxation to your week.
Artists in Residence Babette Van Gerwen and Will Kennedy invite you to celebrate the misfit creatures of our cities in this exhibition and participatory art event.
On the occasion of the 'International Migrants Day', join us for theatre, food and discussion on the powerful resistance of migrant domestic workers. This political reimagining of Antigone confronts how the modern state determines whose lives are valued.
Sundial Art Club is a regular visual arts workshop celebrating creativity, community and nature connection. Join us at The Create Place for friendly, informal sessions where people of all abilities can experiment and be creative in a free, supportive environment.
Tickets still available for this wonderful evening of stars, music and entertainment whilst raising much needed funds for Afasic. Wednesday the 10th is final day to book online or you can pay on the door. Don't miss this great event!
