Begin your year with our creative activities

As we wrap up 2025, at St Margaret’s House, we invite you to begin the new year with creativity and connection. Our workshops offer a welcoming way to try something new, meet others and enjoy time for yourself. You can join creative, wellbeing and music sessions and events that feel open and supportive.

Each of our workshops brings people together through shared creativity. You can make, move, listen and learn in relaxed groups led by friendly, experienced facilitators, who will help you build confidence, form positive routines and keep your new year intentions feeling achievable and enjoyable.

The new year brings fresh intentions. You want better balance, focus and care for your mental health. Our wellbeing sessions support those goals. You can slow down, reset your routine and build healthy habits that last. Our sessions include meditation, movement and creative practices. They suit beginners and regulars alike. Join us at The Canvas and turn your New Year's resolution into action!

Word_Play is a workshop series run by an arts writer-arts therapist duo that explores the stories we tell with our lives. Drawing on both therapeutic methods and artistic practice, themed sessions will bring participants together through discussion and creative exploration.

The new year is also a chance to make space for creativity. Our Arts Workshops help you learn, experiment and connect through making. Crafting is Connecting brings people together through shared, hands-on practice and Sundial Arts Club offers a relaxed setting to explore art together and build a steady creative habit.

Let the New Year help you reconnect with music and dance. Our Workshops help you listen, play and create with others. Shag Pile invites you to experiment with dance in an open, supportive setting, whilst Melodies of Bollywood explores rhythm and songs from a rich musical tradition. You build confidence and connection through shared practice. Join these sessions and make music part of your routine!

2026 will be the perfect time to support growth and confidence. Our Children and Young People Activities give your child a safe space to create, play and learn with others. The sessions build skills through art, comedy, circus and games: group activities that encourage self-expression and positive routines. Your child can try new things and make friends. Join an activity and start the year with purpose and fun!
