Feel Good Vibes - Join us at St Margaret’s House
15th January 2026
This week at St Margaret’s House, there’s plenty happening to spark your curiosity and lift your mood. You can drop into creative workshops, join relaxed wellbeing sessions or simply try something you have never done before. Our activities are open, friendly and designed to bring people together through shared experiences and creativity.
We also run a rich programme of activities for children, full of imagination, play and hands-on fun. From creative workshops and storytelling to movement, art and family-friendly sessions, these activities provide a space to explore and build confidence. They are designed to be welcoming and supportive, with plenty of opportunities for parents and carers to join in or connect with other families. We warmly invite you to take a look and come along with the young people in your life.

Experience the immersive rejuvenating frequencies of a Sound Bath. Through the use of Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gong and Percussion, this session will help you feel more enriched, connected and in harmony with yourself.
Word_Play is a workshop series run by a writer & arts therapist duo that explores the stories we tell with our lives. Drawing on both therapeutic methods and artistic practice, themed sessions will bring participants together through discussion and creative exploration.
The Queer Arts and Social Club meet around once a month on a Monday evening. We'll come together to learn new art skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Come for one session or join for more; it's a chilled way to connect with new LGBTQ+ people in London and be creative.
A docu-style short film by The Black Curriculum that thoughtfully explores the absence of Black British history and highlights the enduring legacy of colonialism within the UK’s national curriculum, inviting you to reflect on why these stories matter and how education can better represent our shared past.
Our Open Mic Nights celebrate diverse performances, from acoustic musicians and poets to stand-up comedians and storytellers, all within a friendly and intimate atmosphere. This month, to celebrate Veganuary and lift the winter blues, we are offering a hot meal and making time for friendly feedback so you can support each other and grow in the new year.
On Thursday 26th February at 6.30pm, join performer and activist Dan de la Motte for an engaging deep dive into Hackney’s Molly Houses at Newington Green Meeting House, as part of LGBT+ History Month 2026.
In the 1700s, Molly Houses were far more than queer pubs. Set within the atmospheric home of Radical Thought, this event explores the significance of these remarkable spaces and invites you to reflect on London’s rich queer history.
