Do you want to strut your stuff on the catwalk?
17 September 2026
We're halfway through Second Hand September! Have you been wearing your charity shop clothes with pride this month? You will already know how important second hand clothes are to us through the amazing work that Nigel, Barbara and the team do in Ayoka. But repair and learning the skills to make and mend are also key parts of our Arts and Wellbeing Programme.
Have you attended one of our Repair Cafes before? The next one is Saturday 26th September and that same day we'll be taking Ayoka clothes to the catwalk in a Fashion Show, supported by Fast Fashion Therapy. We'd love you to join us and get involved!
Check out our What's on page and read on to find out what's coming up soon, or download a PDF version on the button below.
This is your opportunity to see the clothes from Ayoka as you have never seen them before: on the catwalk! Of you're keen to create an outfit for the catwalk, join Fast Fashion Therapy from 10.30am-1pm in a workshop to do just that.
An evening of overlapping performances, evolving ideas and shared creation, where individual voices weave into a collective whole. Audience members are invited not just to watch, but to inhabit the space — contributing to a temporary, living artwork through presence, attention, and participation.
A year of works — spanning across boxes, drawings, and paintings. This exhibition by Gabby Woo examines everyday encounters and how they form relations that weave into a larger web of events.
Still looking for activities for afterschool and weekends this term? Join us on Mondays 3.45-5.15pm for Hilarity Academy, Tuesdays 3.30-4.30pm for Afterschool Games Club and Saturdays 9.45-10.45am for Circus. Some sessions are free, others are lowcost. We'd love to welcome your child!
If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the workshop doors and studio spaces around Blackhorse Lane, Blackhorse Creates will give you the opportunity to find out.
Taking place Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 September, Blackhorse Creates will bring together makers, artists, designers and creative businesses for workshops, panel talks and behind-the-scenes opportunities.
