Find out what’s planned for a week of inspiration
30th April 2026
May brings Creativity and Wellbeing Week (18th-24th May), a national celebration led by London Arts and Health and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance that highlights the powerful link between creative activity and wellbeing. It is a moment to recognise how taking part in arts and creative experiences can support mental health, build confidence and strengthen connections within communities. This focus closely reflects the core mission of St Margaret’s House, where creativity and wellbeing are at the centre of everything we do.
We warmly invite you to be part of it. Alongside our regular programme, we will be hosting different events to celebrate the occasion and share the benefits of creativity, connection and community. Whether you join a workshop, attend an event or simply spend time in our spaces, we hope you will feel inspired.

Working primarily through drawing, Veronica Rowlands creates detailed, symbolic compositions that draw on natural forms, pattern, and repetition.
Join us for our free, monthly Meet Make Take session on the last Wednesday of the month. This drop-in morning arts and crafts activity gives members of our community a supportive space where they can relax, do some arts and crafts and connect with others.
Integral Yoga addresses the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of being: gentle postures followed by breathing practices, deep relaxation and an introduction to meditation.
