There’s something for everyone

15 October 2026

At St Margaret's House, we have something for everyone. For those reading regularly, you'll know that includes workshops, wellbeing sessions, exhibitions, events and other community activities. Whether you're a newcomer or aficionado, getting involved can support your health and wellbeing. Everything's listed on our What's on page and read on for dance sessions, an exhibition and acupuncture! If it's easier, you can also download a list of our regular activities at the button below.

For those with children, we imagine your planning is turning towards half term. There's info on that below too. Do you know we also have term-time activities on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings for children and young people? Sessions cover comedy, board games, crafting and circus. Find all details here.

Join us and learn circus skills! These fun and engaging sessions support the development of new skills, communication and creative thinking! Free to attend thanks to funding from the Tower Hamlets Mayor's Community Grant. For children aged 5-8.

Long Nose Puppets’ show Penguin is based on the award-winning book by Polly Dunbar. Ben is delighted when he rips open his present, inside is a penguin. For all ages, especially 2-8 year olds!

Dive into the world of Collegiate Shag - the swift footed swing dance that set the 1920s on fire! Learn with our expert teaching team and friendly regulars. Whether you’re a fledgling dancer or a Lindy Hopper looking to try something new, we've got you covered.

An exhibition of prints, drawings, collage, photographs, video and sound by a group of five artists (Clare Winter, Filippa Dobson, Jane Roberts, Liz Byrne, Neil Lamont).

Introducing the latest addition to the team delivering the East London Multibed community acupuncture: Danya! Take this opportunity to try it out if it's new for you. Acupuncture can treat a very broad range of conditions, from the physical to the mental-emotional.
