Celebrate a plastic-free month with our fun events
2nd July 2026
Who knew that saying no to a plastic straw or remembering your reusable bag could be part of a global movement? This month, we're proud to support Plastic Free July, a campaign that encourages us all to make small changes that add up to a big difference. At St Margaret's House, caring for people and the planet goes hand in hand, whether that's through creative reuse, community growing, repairing instead of replacing or simply finding more sustainable ways to come together. Every small swap counts and there's no better time to give it a go.
Summer is also in full swing and so is our activities programme. From the many events at Discover Festival to the chance to reconnect with nature through Explore Outdoors, there are many things to discover this month. Whether you're hoping to try something new, meet like-minded people, get creative, or enjoy a little more time outside, we'd love to welcome you.
