Discover our lively event and workspaces

26th February 2026

This week, we would love to invite you to explore the different event and office spaces available to hire at St Margaret’s House. Whether you are planning a meeting, workshop, performance, away day, or community gathering, we offer a range of flexible and characterful spaces to suit your needs. From intimate rooms for smaller groups to larger halls filled with natural light, our spaces are designed to support creativity, collaboration and connection.

If you are looking for a permanent office base or a one-off venue for your next event, hiring a space with us means becoming part of a vibrant and supportive community. Our central East London location, welcoming atmosphere and experienced team make it easy for you to host something meaningful. We would be delighted to help you find the right space and bring your plans to life.

This office is light and bright and we are looking for a charitable, socially minded organisation to co-share this space with current tenants, Arboreal Architecture.

Join us for our free women’s wellbeing sessions, led by yoga practitioner Vimalamani. These sessions provide a welcoming and safe space to take part in gentle movement and meditation, helping to improve your mood, confidence and feelings of wellbeing.

Join us to celebrate Nokshi Katha embroidery as a heritage craft of solidarity, connection and storytelling in this collaborative group exhibition at the Chapel.

This bi-monthly workshop series supports poetic development in a relaxed, queer-friendly space, encouraging writing, sharing and connection while building confidence, embracing imperfection and opening pathways from first draft to future performance. Alternating between weekend dates and weekday evenings.

This free fun and inclusive workshop invites everyone to learn and sing Bollywood songs together before an open mic where you can share your talent or simply enjoy the performances, creating a joyful space for music, connection and community.

'Women Will Create' is a vibrant makers market celebrating women-led creativity, where every stallholder is a female maker, designer or independent business owner. You can discover handmade products, meet the makers and support a welcoming creative community built around collaboration and empowerment. The next market takes place at Abney Public Hall, Stoke Newington, on Sunday 22 March. It is a great opportunity to shop thoughtfully while directly supporting women in business and the arts.
