Be part of a creative community and support local talent

20 August 2026

Calling all local artists! Got something you've been creating that deserves its moment in the spotlight? At St Margaret's House, we love giving creativity a home and local talent a place to shine. Whether you're an emerging artist, an established creative or simply ready to share your work for the first time, we'd love to hear from you. Paintings, photography, illustration, or something that doesn't quite fit a label, our spaces could be the home of your next exhibition. Get in touch and let's see what we can create together!

And for everyone who prefers admiring art to making it, you're very welcome too. Pop into St Margaret's House, have a wander through our exhibition spaces and discover what local artists have been busy creating. Come for a quick look or take your time, bring a friend, find a new favourite (most pieces are available to buy), and have a good debate about the pieces you love, or the ones you can't quite figure out! There's always something new to discover and we'd love you to come and see it for yourself.

Join Damselfly and Lotus at Victoria Park for this free 5-week journey of exploring mindfulness practices and the basic underlying theory of the mind and body.

From Saturday 26th September, our popular sessions for children to learn circus skills and develop communication and creative thinking are back at St Margaret's House. Sign up now!

Enjoy guided meditation and breath work surrounded by blissful music, followed by dynamic movement and restorative stretching. Leave feeling connected to the body and breath!

These sessions are inspired by the informal massage rooms of South East Asia. They enjoy working in a shared space as it creates a safe and open atmosphere, welcoming all and providing a container that establishes community, connection and healing.

Join us next Wednesday for our free, monthly Meet Make Take session. This drop-in morning arts and crafts activity gives members of our community a supportive space where they can relax, do some arts and crafts and connect with others.

Recite a poem from memory - for charity and cake! Do you accept the challenge?!
